Trendy and stylish. Good quality, light and sturdy enough to last.
When I first looked into it, I thought that dog sofa beds would be way too expensive. I was wrong – this is excellent value for money. For just over £50, it looks way more expensive than that and I think it’s amazing that they can make it for that amount to be honest.
The light grey velvet and the black trim is very on-trend and goes perfectly in sitting rooms like mine with neutral shades and greys. I’m ashamed to say that it’s actually smarter than our own proper sofas. Underneath the velvet it’s made with a wooden frame which is surprisingly light but seems good quality and sturdy. The sofa is then padded with foam between the frame and the velvet fabric, so its soft enough and is also good for your dog’s head to rest against the back or on the armrest. Having higher sides is really practical as he can sit and hang his little head over and stare at you.
Although you obviously can’t put the dog-bed through the wash, the cushion is removable which is handy and there is a bag attached to the back of the sofa in the same velvet fabric. I don’t see what I’d use it for but if your dog chews a toy or something similar I guess you could store it in there. Handy for the TV remote perhaps?
Apart from that all you need to know is that it’s suitable for smaller dogs and maybe even cats as a cat bed. I think the only downside is that it would be perfect if the cushion had a bit more filling to make it more plump but it’s still comfortable and looks the bees knees (or the dog’s ….!) – a bit of luxury and elegance in the lounge.
