The Pet face white plush oval dog bed is a lovely soft bed that feels like a child’s comfort toy.  It is really cosy and warm and my dog and cat love it! I think it looks pretty smart as well, although it is worth pointing out that it is not entirely white, it has bits of grey in it a bit like a snow leopard.  This is probably a good thing, as I’d never have bought it, if it was entirely white – it would be needing a wash daily!  The inner pad made of the same material is removable and it is all machine washable.  I do find the inner cushion needs more of a regular wash than the rest of the bed as the outer part is lower on one side so it’s easy to get in and less likely to get squished by muddy paws.  Another thing I really liked about this and have seen on other Petface products, is that they give a size guidance label.  The large fits a working Labrador.   It is a polyester bed but is of good quality and feels more like a super soft cuddly toy.  This may be a good option for puppies as they can burrow and feel secure, although I would be careful with sharp claws on the non slip base under the cushion as it feels quite thin.  I really like this bed and if you have a light coloured or non-malting breed of dog, I would highly recommend it.  If you have a black lab like me that sheds all year round, you may be cleaning it quite often.
